These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Govantage platform and services. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Govantage Ltd (Company No. 16392209, registered in England & Wales) (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a weekly van rental service for self-employed delivery drivers and couriers in the United Kingdom. Our registered address is 28 Burnham Street, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 3EX. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under reference ZC018517. Our platform includes a web application and mobile driver app for managing rentals, vehicle checks, payments, documents, and support.

We offer two rental plans:
Rentals are on a weekly rolling basis. Either party may terminate with 7 days’ written notice.
Weekly rental payments are collected automatically via GoCardless Direct Debit. A refundable security deposit is required before van collection. The deposit is held for the duration of your rental and for 28 days after vehicle return, subject to deductions for damage, outstanding charges, or cleaning fees.
An administration fee of £35 applies for processing traffic fines, parking charges, or congestion charges incurred during your rental.
Standard plan drivers must arrange their own motor insurance. The insurance must cover the specific vehicle and be appropriate for your use (e.g. Hire & Reward for courier work). Proof of insurance is required before vehicle collection and may be requested at any time. Driving without valid insurance will result in immediate termination, vehicle recovery, and deposit forfeiture.
Premium plan drivers are covered by our fleet insurance policy.
You are responsible for:
Vehicles may be fitted with GPS tracking and telematics devices. By accepting these terms, you consent to location and driving data being monitored for fleet management, safety, and theft recovery purposes.
We may terminate your rental immediately if you breach any material term, including but not limited to: driving without insurance, failing to pay for two or more consecutive weeks, failing to complete weekly checks for two consecutive weeks, accumulating three or more driving offences in 12 months, or allowing unauthorised use of the vehicle.
Upon termination, the vehicle must be returned within 48 hours. Failure to return may be reported as theft.
Our total liability under these terms is limited to the rental fees paid in the preceding 12-week period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days in advance via email and in-app notification.
